The Conjuring 2
The Conjuring 2 is a 2016 American supernatural horror film
directed by James Wan.Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga
reprise their roles as paranormal investigators and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren. The Warrens travel
to the United Kingdom to assist the Hodgson family,
who are experiencing poltergeist activity at their Enfieldcouncil house
in 1977.

There’s a reason why James Wan is widely
considered as the modern horror filmmaker. The way he constructs his jump
scares, and the skill with which he builds up the anticipation towards the
scares is unmatched.
Wan shifts the story this time to London
where a single mother (Frances O Connor) and her kids are terrorised by
something inhuman creeping in the shadows of the house. Lorraine (Vera Farmiga)
and Ed Warren (Patrick Wilson) are once again called to investigate the matter
when the police and the doctors (hilariously) fail to explain the phenomenon.
What follows are the usual set of elements — the Lorrains discover the
malevolent entity and try, at great personal risk, to get rid of it. And
each of the three kids in the house is greeted by the ghostly entity in
different, twisted ways,with Madison Wolfe,
playing 11-year-old Janet, the clear standout. As the child to receive the
brunt of the demonic abuse, Wolfe registers fear more palpably that most scream
queens twice her age.And since the ghost literally says he likes
to scare kids, there’s a whole sandbox of scares at play.

Now You See Me 2
Now You See Me 2 (internationally known as: Now
You See Me: The Second Act) is a 2016 American magic caper thriller film directed by Jon M. Chu.
A sequel
to the 2013 film Now You See Me, it
stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo,
Woody
Harrelson and Dave Franco, with Daniel
Radcliffe, Lizzy Caplan, Jay Chou,
and Sanaa Lathan;
Michael Caine
and Morgan Freeman also reprise their roles.

In “Now You See
Me 2,” the infamous tricksters known as the Four Horsemen are back, toying with
our heads in even more delirious — and ridiculous — ways. They’re now
underground legends, known for having pulled off an elaborate heist right in
the middle of a magic show, and this is one of those movies in which the
bravura of each character gets kicked up a notch, according to the rock-star
logic of sequels.
When Woody Harrelson’s Merritt McKinney, the hypnotist in a
pork-pie hat, reduces his targets to a putty-like trance, he now does it with
even more smirky panache. Dave Franco’s sleight-of-hand artist Jack Wilder
flips a deck of cards around like the Paganini of street showmanship, and Jesse
Eisenberg, as group leader J. Daniel Atlas, exudes a newly
understated confidence that looks great on him Lizzy Caplan as Lula, who
gets right onto the film’s wavelength of gaga showmanship in a scene where,
having snuck into Daniel’s apartment, she fakes her own death by guillotine (a
startling visual effect) and just keeps on talking. That lets you know that
she’s in the right place. The Horseman are a team, deeply loyal to each
other, but they’re also rivals .
Our heroes, it
turns out, have landed in Macau, where they’ve been recruited by Walter Mabry
(Daniel Radcliffe), a smug mastermind who’s been hiding off the grid. He orders
them to perform a do-or-die mission: They must steal a circuit known as “the
stick,” which has the power to de-encrypt any computer program on earth. “Steal
something,” whines Merritt, “for this narcissistic little man-boy?” The line is
a compliment to Radcliffe’s performance.
In “Now You See Me 2,” there is always more than
meets the eye, maybe because the film itself never stops winking.

Some people
had hoped, after months of hype and the pedigree of director Duncan Jones.
Warcraft, which
comes out June 10, is a whirlwind of CGI effects and snazzy costumes that never
quite coalesces into a watchable film. Longtime fans of the series might get a
kick out of seeing the likes of Medivh (Ben Foster) and Durotan (Toby Kebbell)
played by Hollywood actors, but it’s tough to get invested in a movie that
feels so soulless. Warcraft has
very few redeeming qualities. The performances are mediocre, the writing is
full of cliches, and the editing is confusing when it’s trying to be clever.
(Both the orcs and humans speak real-life English, but the movie attempts to
persuade us, by means of a clumsy transition halfway through the film, that the
orcs are actually speaking
their own language. It’s not very good.)
Yet I just couldn’t buy in.
Maybe the premise was flawed from the start.Warcraft opens
with a shot of the vicious orc Horde, all teeth and screams, as it introduces
us to Durotan and his pregnant wife. In just a few minutes we’re zipping
through so many cities—Ironforge, Stormwind, Dalaran—that even for a Warcraft buff
it might be tough to keep things straight.
Rather than give some breathing room
to Durotan and his human counterpart, Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel), Warcraft insists
on introducing character after character, none of them pleasant. There’s Callan
(Burkely Duffield), Lothar’s plot device of a son. There’s the bumbling mage
Khadgar (Ben Schnetzer), who is far more interesting in the games. There’s the Guardian
Medivh, whose motives and actions are never quite clear. There’s a king, a
queen, some knights. There are a bunch of orcs who get a lot of screen time
that could’ve gone toward actual character development. There are too many
characters, too many subplots, and not nearly enough reasons to care about them
all.
And then there’s Garona (Paula Patton), whose fangs are so
utterly silly that they often distract from her performance, which is just as
ridiculous. Warcraftdevotes many minutes to Garona: her
enslavement at the hands of her own people; her snarling threats; her
unconvincing romantic trist with the main character. Her character, a half-orc,
half-human* warrior who seems destined to bring peace to the two races, is
poorly crafted and kind of a drag to watch. A stronger actress could have
helped made Garona more compelling, but with so many factors working against
her, even that might not have worked. She is unabashedly dull.

Te3n
Te3n is an upcoming Indian thriller film
written and directed by RibhuDasgupta.Amitabh
Bachchan had revealed that the movie is an official remake of South
Korean movie Montage for which
copyrights were purchased by Sujoy Ghosh.
Cast:-
Amitabh Bachchan
Nawazuddin Siddiqui

The film is predictable, but
can be watched for Amitabh and Nawazuddin's performances. Calling it a sensible
film with a good climax, critics said that "Te3n" can be right
choice this weekend.
Te3n has been
adapted from the Korean thriller Montage with a few changes in the plot. It
mainly revolves around the thin line between redemption and revenge and also
relieving oneself of guilt for a crime that is unintentionally committed.
Amitabh Bachchan, who is
otherwise known for his strong performances, nails the act of a feeble
grandfather who dearly loved his grand-child and will not leave any stone
unturned to seek justice for her. The film takes
off rather slowly as we are introduced to John’s character and his wheel-chair
borne wife. His
silences, his body language and the overall performance is bang on. Your heart
goes out to his character instantly from the start.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui tries something different as he pulls off
the role of an ex-cop turned Father. Eight years later, when a similar case
repeats itself as another child is kidnapped, the officer in charge Sarita
Sarkar (Vidya Balan) and Father Martin Das (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who is a
former cop, delve into both the cases.
Will John be able to nab the culprit 8 years later? Is the
kidnapper for both the cases same?

Do Lafzon Ki Kahani
Do Lafzon Ki Kahaniis an upcoming Hindi film
written by Girish Dhamija and directed by Deepak Tijori.
Cast:-
RandeepHooda
Kajal Aggarwal
Actor-turned-filmmaker Deepak Tijori
has directed films like Oops!, Fareb andTom Dick And Harry but none of them has impressed the
audience or the critics.
Sadly, his latest venture, Do Lafzon Ki Kahani --
a love story starring Randeep Hooda and Kajal Aggarwal --
will join the bandwagon.
Storywise, the film has nothing
new to offer in the romantic genre. It seems as if the director is stuck in the
1990s and has incorporated every cliched Bollywood element in his film.
While Do
Lafzon Ki Kahani has
good music and a terrific actor like Randeep, it doesn’t make up for the
loopholes in the script.
Sooraj (Randeep) is a boxer who
has retired from the profession due to a mishap. He now does three different
jobs for a living.
His life changes when he meets
the visually impaired Jenny (Kajal), a sprightly girl who loves talking.
Their personalities are totally opposite and so, obviously, they end up falling
for each other. After all, opposites attract!
With Jenny in his life, Sooraj
decides to give boxing another chance so that he can have a normal life. But his plans change when he
learns that he is partly responsible for Jenny's loss of sight. Sooraj now
wants to make things right by helping Jenny see again.
The operation requires a lot of
money but Sooraj is ready to go to any length for the love of his life. Will Sooraj succeed in helping
Jenny? Will their love story have a happy ending? You will have to watch the
film to find out but, trust me, it's not worth it.
