TRAFFIC & ONE NIGHT STAND....Review of last Friday (6th May) release

Well I was really not going to watch any Movie but it says na ” Curiosity can take you anywhere”
And here I am with the remaining two movie of last Friday (6th May) release. Traffic and One Night stand

TRAFFIC

Though Traffic is a remake of Old Traffic Malayalam movie but with Bollywood actors

Starring

Manoj Bajpayee as Godbole, a traffic police constable
Jimmy Shergill as the City Traffic Commissioner
Prosenjit Chatterjee as superstar Dev Kapoor
Parambrata Chatterjee Abel, a cardiac surgeon
  Jishnu as Abel's friend
Vishal Singh as Reyhan, a journalist trainee
  Sachin Khedekar as Reyhan's father
  Kitu Gidwani as Reyhan's mother
Amol Parashar as Rajeev, Reyhan's friend
  Kaveri as Abel's sister
Divya Dutta as Dev Kapoor's wife
  Divya Unni as Godbole's wife
Nikita Thukral as Reyhan's girl friend
  Richa Panai as Abel's wife

It’s a thriller based ride from Mumbai to Pune  based on real events occurred in Chennai, Jimmy Shergil as the police commissioner is pretty convincing

An accident sets off a chain reaction, bringing together complete strangers and even uniting some. The crash leaves a few with hope, others with despair. The victim's (Vishal Singh) heart, if transported in time, will save the daughter of superstar Dev Kapoor (Prosenjit Chatterjee) and his wife (Divya Dutta). A corrupt traffic constable (Manoj) who gets to prove himself when he is asked to drive the vehicle bearing the vital organ between the two cities.

Manoj as Godbole constable is hesitant, unsure and yet determined to deliver on his promise. Prosenjit presents a solid act as the helpless father and, at the same time, an arrogant, powerful public figure, who pulls a few strings to clear the road to save his child. Divya isn't there much, but the scene in which she pleads to the brain dead patient's parents for the life of her daughter will make you shed some tears.

The actor, Dev Kapoor (Prosenjit), puts tremendous pressure on the potential donor’s family through politicians (even the Governor makes a call on his behalf) , which is the only reason the entire traffic police department is put into action. The operation gives the characters of the traffic constable (Bajpayee) and a doctor with murder on his mind (Parambrata Chatterjee) a chance to redeem themselves.

Director Rajesh Pillai was once again successful in recreating the thrill but lost to set the people glued to the seat because of the film has been made too many times.
Though the story line is awesome but for the people who have viewed it before in Malayalam or Kannada will lose interest soon

ONE NIGHT STAND

To be honest I thought seeing Sunny Leone will make the flim more interesting, but it says na” when you start expecting you get nothing”  well it went in same way more or less in One Night Stand

Starring -

Sunny Leone
Tanuj Virwani
Nyra Banerjee

A hot-shot event manager has a one night stand with a beautiful stranger, nothing else is there.Because the plot have to inherent in the film’s title and they spend a crazy night mostly spent in a bathtub and partly on a couch.

They are somehow sure that their paths will never cross again, but they do Both Urvil (Tanuj Virwani) and the woman who calls herself Celina (Sunny Leone) realise that a little bit of unthinking lust can cause, complications

The ground shakes beneath Urvil’s (Tanuj Virwani) feet when he discovers that Celina (Sunny) lives in his city. The plot is similar to "Fatal Attraction".

That he, self-confessed Casanova who is always adding another notch on his well-shucked belt, can’t get her out of his head. The dialogues bring out his confidence and obsession. But Sunny Leone and her Hindi play (we all know how good it is) throws things off. Though conversations is precise (no melodrama) is the there in One Night Stand at least when they are justifying their professions.
